Due to the height of the structures ladders are often un-suitable, therefore we use a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platform) to carry out this work safely.

To keep us up to date with regulations we have to re-sit the IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)   test every five years. In the picture below are Robert Wilkie and John Thow carrying out the training to renewing their certificates.

Once this had been completed we installed bird deterrent spikes to prevent the birds from returning to the site.

The pigeon guano had built up over many years and as you can see from the photo it wasn't very enjoyable.

This week our technician John had to go up Glencoe on the white corries ski lift… He must remember to take the skis next time..
